Location, Location, Location! That's
right there are three! Descriptions and post codes of our three
locations, all walking distance from Worcester Foregate Railway Station
or from St. Martin's Gate long stay car park in City Walls Road.
Friends Meeting House, Sansome Place,
Worcester, WR1 1UG is round the corner from the Worcester Arts workshop,
in Samsome Walk, near an archway and across from Bradbury Centre for the
Visually Impaired. Walk through the iron gate are and down the
path to the garden. Please don't think about parking there- it's
for private residents!
St Swithuns, corner of Church Street and St Swithun's Street,
Worcester WR1 2RH
is a redundant baroque church in the heart of town, near the markets. If
you park at St Martins gate and walk down Mealcheapen toward the city
centre you'll be facing it. The entrance will be round to your left,
near where the Glass House used to be! You could set someone down by car
(with hazard lights) but you can't park right there.
St Helen's, Fish Street, Worcester WR1 2HN is in a cul de sac
which meets the pedestrianised High Street, but is accessible for drop
offs only via Deansway, right by the Farrier's Arms and a stone's throw
from Huntingdon Hall, the Festival Box Office. teh absolutely closest
carpark is in Copenhagen St (short stay), or Crowngate multistory for
long stay.
If you are going between venues, the best value is St Martin's long stay
carpark in City Walls Road.
Maps
and parking and venue photos are in the leaflet at the top, above the chart.
In 2007 Friday 24 August 1:30-2:30pm Back by
popular demand, Micaela will perform 'A Royal Progress: From the Chapel Royal to Versailles' at the Friends
Meeting House, Sansome Place, Worcester WR1 1UG. It's 500 years
from the Worcester Foregate Rail Station and just around the corner from
the Worcester Arts Workshop.
Tickets Worcester Festival Box office 01905 611 427 or on the door or
